I started Callum on solids a couple weeks ago - today it was time to try another new food. Since I haven't been shopping in ages all I had in the house to cook for him was prunes. Callum thought they were the best food yet..but I'm a little nervous about how he reacts to them...

We had another visit from Grandma and Grandpa this weekend! Not many pictures as we were very busy with a sick daddy, going to the beach, etc. When Grandpa was in charge, Callum got wedged under the couch :-)

Callum will be 6 months old this week...we're not sure how that happened so quickly, but it means it's definitely time to start feeding him real food. He had squash today and really enjoyed it :-)

Sorry for the long delay in posting pictures...Callum's been really active and it's hard to find time to take photos, let alone post them one the blog :-)

We are SOOO excited to have everyone come visit "Peel Street" this weekend! We have lots planned so don't forget your bathing suits!

For my birthday last weekend the boys took me to Kincardine beach, then home for delicious supper and cake...here we are relaxing on the lawn after we got home

Callum's been making this face for a while now, I guess to put pressure on his little gums - that's where his first two teeth came through. It's a funny face and he makes it all the time now, even though the teeth are through.

Callum got to skype with the Downies today...he was so pooped afterwards he went for a nice long nap :-)

Another super hot day means we're pretty much stuck in the house again...and if any Downie is reading this, we're on Skype waiting to see Uncle Jim and Aunt Bernie and Cousin Connor :-)

Callum's first two teeth broke through on Thursday! You can't see them in pictures yet but boy are they sharp.

Callum started sucking on his big toe yesterday. I'm pretty sure he learned that one from Violet.

It is way too hot! We stayed in this afternoon and I took some photos (maybe 63). So if you're like me and love looking at pics of this sweet little boy, you're in luck.
