Callum's first band-aid. He was pretty happy because Grandpa also has a boo-boo on his finger

Callum found the first sign of spring in our garden! He's looking forward to being able to play outside every day

We went to the maple syrup farm this weekend, and they had the barn open for kids to check out the animals. Callum loved all of them, and wasn't scared at all. He let all of them eat out his hand and he pet the donkey's nose.

Even when the goats got a little aggressive he didn't seem to mind

Callum found this bucket and realized he could fit inside of it...he watched a whole episode of Elmo sitting in there the other day

Callum had his first ever soccer practice today! Since he's so young it's mostly about sharing and sportsmanship, plus they do counting and colours together.

Grandma and Grandpa took him because Daddy ended up working unexpectedly. Callum was unsure at first but had a good time showing everyone what a good jumper he is! By the end of practice he'd warmed up to the experience and gave the coach a high-five and a hug. Mummy thinks his new uniform is so cute!

Happy Birthday Callum and Daddy!
We can't believe Callum is 2 already...to celebrate both boys' birthdays, we went bowling yesterday and had some cupcakes. Callum is going to have a few friends over this week, too.

Here he is modelling his birthday gifts from Grandma and Grandpa - a Lego farm set, and overalls with trains all over them. He's been so busy playing with Lego he hasn't had time to open his present from Mummy and Daddy yet.

Not everyone believes that the boys went parasailing...here's more proof!

Some highlights from our trip to Florida:

Here we are on a quad bike, which we took through a nice park. Another day we rented normal bikes and took an 18 mile trek through a nature preserve :-)

 Hunting for shells with Daddy

The day Callum found his pockets

On a dolphin tour! Callum loved the boat ride and watching the dolphins swim and jump.

 Captain MacDonald

Daddy, Grandpa and Aunt Charity went parasailing. Callum was really upset that he wasn't invited, so Grandma and I took him for ice cream instead.

 A rainy day fort

Riding on a miniature train

We had time to kill one day, so checked out a Renaissance Fayre. It was pretty fun!

The best thing about travelling with a toddler is that he's happy just playing at the beach for hours

Gator hunting with Grandpa in the Everglades (we saw at least 40)

Looking down at the pool and canal. At night we could hear, and sometimes see, dolphins playing in the canal behind our house
