Callum dragged five chairs together to make an obstacle course for himself and Elmo to crawl along, back and forth.

The cottage we're staying at has a secret pull-down ladder leading to a loft. It's a big hit with our climber. There's also bunk beds with a ladder, and when Daddy wasn't paying attention for two seconds, guess who scooted up to the top bunk?

Callum and I have been trying to keep busy without Daddy here. We went to the pumpkin adventure farm again this morning for wagon rides and apple cider, and discovered a rabbit hutch we hadn't noticed before.

 

 

 This afternoon we roped Grandma and Grandpa into coming to Port Colbourne with us for a walkabout. As luck would have it, the lift bridge was going up just as we pulled into downtown, so we didn't even have to wait to see a nice big ship go through.

 Grandpa couldn't leave town without stopping at The Pink for lunch. Callum ate a ton of rice and crispy noodles, and made Grandma sing the alphabet into his ear about ten times in a row.

 

Happy Halloween! Callum went to a Halloween party at the Early Years Centre today and was the cutest kid there :-)  Mickey Mouse is one of his favourite characters, so that's how we dressed him for today

 He's bundled up with flannel p.j.'s under his costume, so we could go trick-or-treating with Nathan

A rainy Saturday! We were looking for something fun to do this morning, so Callum and Mummy picked up Grandpa and Grandma and went to watch Nathan's hockey practice. Callum had a bit of a tantrum this morning so we were very late, but we got to see some skating and also the zamboni.

Grandpa keeps a bowl of walnuts at toddler-level, and the boys crack them open every time we visit. Callum's got a mouthful here.
