Back at the pumpkin farm, on the weekend

We went on the hay ride twice, and on this pumpkin train three times. We also watched Daddy do the chunkin punkin contest (he didn't win but it was a valiant effort)

Jumping on the giant trampoline with Daddy. We still haven't done a lot of the activities at the farm - maybe this weekend if the weather holds out.

Callum now has his very own wagon! Given that he's always trying to climb into other peoples' wagons, we decided it was time to get one of our own.

It's that time of year...Fall fairs and pumpkin patches

You're supposed to take your child's picture in front of this scarecrow every year to measure how tall they've grown :-)

Callum insisted that he was brave enough to go on the wagon ride, pulled by a tractor. We told him the tractor wouldn't stop even if he was scared. We decided to go for it, and he loved every minute! It was bumpy and creaky, and took us up & down hills; the tractor was loud and blew dust in our faces. Callum was so happy, we went on three times in a row! Plus, Mummy and Daddy bought seasons passes to the pumpkin farm, so we can go back every weekend until Halloween.

Aunt Gillian gave Callum a helium balloon yesterday...it was a huge hit, too.

At the Food Festival last weekend...we took our
our food down to the water to watch the birds while we ate.

Callum started out wearing his nice new shoes and cap, with jeans and a collared shirt. It warmed up so we took off the collared shirt...and of course it happened that he wanted to play with the brooms and drag himself along the driveway. So, yes, he does look like an olde-thyme chimney sweep, but it wasn't intentional

Yoo-hoo...has anyone seen Callum?

Hmm, where could he be?

Enjoying playing with a volleyball and a badminton raquet

He's getting really good at throwing things!

Summer is just about over here. We had Uncle Matt visiting from Australia last week - staying with Grandpa and Grandma - and the week before that we had Adam's family staying with us from Alberta. Callum was thrilled to meet more family! It meant more people to play with.

Clapping at how much fun he's having on the slide

 Enjoying a Guinness before supper
