Aunt Gillian got Callum a farm for Christmas, and it's almost as much fun as the box it came in :-)
Callum's invented a game (we don't really understand the rules yet) where he pulls his teddy bear over his head repeatedly and then crawls under it and spins it around, etc. He is very single-minded about this game, and also has tried it with his ball popper, a cushion, a badminton racquet, and Adam's shoe. It's funny to watch.

Peek!

Today, Callum was standing up by himself and said "up!". Then tonight, when Daddy kept steering him away from the heating vent because it was hot, Callum agreed "hot", clear as day.

These are the cars you just pull back on and they wind up and goOOOO!

Callum likes to watch Daddy wind up the cars, but he also like to go lo-tech with them, pushing them around the living room.

Callum's first Christmas was a hit! We kept things pretty low key, but ended up buying a tree, tree stand and new ornaments on Christmas Eve. You can't beat the smell of a real tree :-)

Callum's got a funny look on his face in this picture - it's his look that means he's going to put slobber over something that he knows he shouldn't (a glittery Christmas ornament in this case)

Grandma and Grandpa came up on Boxing Day (yesterday), so more pictures to come!

This is the first time I've had Callum in his little train engineer overalls. He thinks the stripes are funny. There's a striped hat in a store downtown and I'm thinking I might have to go buy it :-)

A flock of wild turkeys landed in our laneway yesterday. This is a few of them getting chased by a cat

Callum enjoying a cuppa tea

Callum and his friend have been politely asked to stop coming to baby group *sigh*. It's too bad because Callum is pretty good with all of the really tiny babies, but I guess around this age they push you towards the groups for older kids. As much as he's into everything at home, Callum's really well-behaved and mellow at baby group.

Another bath picture - every day at 5 pm is bath time. Callum drinks the water - try to stop him!

His soccer ball went under the table, so he followed

Callum's absolute favourite activity is bathtime! He WON'T lay back to have his hair rinsed but he will let you pour bowls of water over his head instead *sigh*.

Here's some of his seven teeth :-)

Up on his haunches

This is Callum's walking toy. Usually he's trying to climb up it, but tonight Daddy set him in it and pushed him around and around

Callum thought Molly might like help getting to sleep, so here he is "gently" rocking her chair.

He pretty much ignores most of his toys now, and just pulls up on everything. He can stand on his own for a few seconds, too (never when the camera's out though...)

Callum is so happy it's clementine season. They're the perfect size for his little hands and he can squeeze them to pieces...plus they're the sweetest thing he's ever eaten :-)
