Happy Halloween!

Charity bought Callum his Halloween costume last year when we visited her...it's super cute!

We had him sitting on the grass to take pictures and he ate a lot of dirt. Mummy had to pick off all the leaves and dirt for wearing the costume again tonight

Here's Callum enjoying one of his books

Callum's been very busy this week, working at staying up on his hands and knees and crawling under everything he can

Of course the weekend flew by, even though Adam had two days off. The weather cleared up yesterday so we all went for a nice walk and ended up at the pond again, to watch the ducks. There's still colourful leaves on the trees, which is surprising given the amount of rain and high winds we've had lately...like the high winds that blew a branch onto my truck and put a $400 dent into it...

Some of the drakes were fighting and making a lot of quack quacking sounds - Callum thought it was hilarious

We've had crummy weather here so yesterday and today we didn't get out for our big walk, just down to the pond across from our house.

Getting ready for Halloween...

I had Callum weighed yesterday - in one month he's gained just over one pound (now he's up to 19 lbs 5.5 oz) and into his 12-18 month clothes.
This is Callum "walking" behind his toy. Someone has to hold him up but he knows to put one foot in front of the other :-)

He'll sit with us for three meals a day now which is great! No more juggling baby on my knee - usually. Callum pretty much skipped over baby food and went right to finger food - here he is enjoying some linguine

...being a ham for the camera

Tooth #5 is sneaking in slowly. Callum's dealing with it like a pro, pushing his tongue against the tooth to relieve pressure. His tongue has been out constantly all day...

Here's Callum enjoying some of the activities fall has to offer - chewing on gourds and playing in the leaves. Head over to Gillian's blog for pictures of Callum's first experience with a swing

Adam's Apple

We haven't been home in forever so we were pleasantly surprised yesterday to find an apple on our tree! We planted the apple tree two falls ago, when we moved in. It's supposed to produce three varieties of apple - maybe next year we'll get more than a single fruit :-)

The resemblance between these two gets more noticeable every day...

Callum's been getting bundled up to enjoy the fall weather. Here he is watching us in the garden.
