Callum loves his Jumper-roo...so it was strange the other day to see him standing in it, not jumping. Turns out his little feet were flat on the ground, and he couldn't bounce. Just last week it fit...so we raised the seat on that and his exersaucer and he's back to enjoying play time.

Here we are at the new place...Callum is still settling in but Molly loves it. She's acting like a kitten again, running up and down stairs and chasing her tail.

Callum loves when Adam is home during the day so they hang out a lot on weekends.

There's some really big, old trees on the property so it's nice and shady.

Playing airplane with Daddy...Notice the beautiful Chesterfield in the background (you know the pattern might be a bit busy when a baby stares at it for hours).

These are Callum's Halloween p.j's, which Adam's sister Charity bought for him when we visited her last summer...I know it isn't Halloween but they fit already and they're cute so he's wearing them. Hopefully the costume she bought him can wait until October...

I made the boys pose in front of the peonies for some Father's Day pics...Callum just loves these flowers, so we picked one for Adam (and got him a bottle of Scotch)

Do you like Callum's "shoes"? They were a gift from Grandma Downie's friend and they've been great for the weather we've been having...too cool for bare feet, too warm for socks and shoes :-)

Welland Part 2

Guess who learned how to roll over this week! He was so proud of himself, it was adorable! It was the morning after Grandma and Grandpa left so they missed it, and Adam was at work so he missed it too :-(
The last of the Welland pics...Nathan and Mirko came to see us off

Welland Visit

The order of the pictures is wrong, sorry! Callum and I went to Welland for a visit and had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa and the Murgics. Yes, Callum is wearing a necklace, it's supposed to help with teething pain...
We've been all over this week with Grandpa and Grandma - here we are on a picnic at Niagara-on-the-Lake
We also went to the Penn Centre and spent some time with the Murgics
Nathan gave Callum his old exersaucer and he loves it! Nathan took the time to show him how to play with each of the toys and Callum got the hang of it right away. Nathan also demonstrated how to roll over and Callum was riveted, and continues to practice but hasn't yet perfected the move. Nathan figures he'll get the hang of it by the time he's two years old

Grandma, Grandpa and I had Callum in the Jumperoo for the first time this morning and it was too cute! He knew exactly what to do and was jumping like crazy; he even knew how to play with the beads on the wire

We've had a few really really hot days already. With no A/C, we have to do what we can to keep Callum cool - so he's down to his diaper here. Instead of just wiggling to make the chair make music, he now kicks the dangly toys.

I just love this romper...
His tongue is always out now...

Here's Callum enjoying the garden...

He's a lot happier these days, now that he's strong enough to face forward in the Baby Bjorn and sit up in the pram...he can't wait to be able to do things by himself!

Callum's friend Violet came over yesterday to show him some tricks...she's about a month older so he's learning a lot. Today he was working on lifting both legs and one hand off the ground at the same time, like Violet. And he did! He was so proud, he smiled and giggled and did it again.
